Welcome to Garlick Garden Services. By booking our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a clear understanding between Garlick Garden Services and our customers.

1. Our Services

Garlick Garden Services provides professional garden maintenance and landscaping services, including but not limited to:

  • Lawn mowing

  • Hedge cutting

  • Pruning

  • Weeding

  • Garden clearances

  • Border maintenance

  • Seasonal garden maintenance

  • General garden upkeep

All work will be completed with reasonable care, skill and professionalism.

2. Quotations

  • All quotations are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days.

  • Prices are based on the information available at the time of quoting.

  • Additional work requested after a quotation has been accepted may incur additional charges.

3. Booking & Cancellations

  • Bookings are confirmed once agreed by both parties.

  • We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to severe weather, illness or circumstances beyond our control.

4. Access to Property

Customers are responsible for ensuring we have safe access to the property at the agreed appointment time.

Where gates are locked or access cannot be gained, a call-out charge may apply.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Inform us of any hidden hazards, underground utilities or irrigation systems.

  • Keep pets and children away from working areas.

  • Remove any valuable or fragile items from areas where work will be carried out.

Garlick Garden Services cannot accept responsibility for damage to hidden obstacles that were not disclosed before work commenced.

6. Green Waste

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Garden waste can be removed for an additional charge.

  • Alternatively, waste may be left neatly on-site for composting or disposal by the customer.

Waste disposal arrangements will always be confirmed before work begins.

7. Weather

Some services cannot be carried out safely during adverse weather conditions.

Where necessary, appointments may be postponed to the next suitable date at no additional cost.

8. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept payment via:

  • Bank Transfer

  • Cash

Late payments may be subject to reminder notices and, where appropriate, statutory interest in accordance with UK legislation.

9. Satisfaction

Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work, please contact us within 48 hours so we can work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

10. Liability

Garlick Garden Services carries appropriate Public Liability Insurance.

While every reasonable care is taken:

  • We cannot be held responsible for pre-existing defects, disease or poor health of plants.

  • We are not liable for damage resulting from hidden defects, underground services or hazards that were not reasonably visible.

  • We are not responsible for natural events including storms, flooding or high winds occurring after work has been completed.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so under UK law.

11. Photographs

We may occasionally take before and after photographs of completed work for marketing purposes.

No personal information or property addresses will be disclosed without your permission.

If you would prefer your property not to be photographed, please let us know before work begins.

12. Website Information

We aim to ensure all information on this website is accurate; however, descriptions, pricing and services may change without prior notice.

Images displayed on the website are for illustrative purposes where applicable.

13. Privacy

Any personal information you provide is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will only be used for providing our services, communicating with you and meeting legal obligations.

We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
